Synchronous communication
Direct communication, where all parties involved in the communication are present at the same time.
Examples- Telephone conversation, a company board meeting, a chat room, and Instant messaging.
Asynchronous Communication
Does not require that all people involved in the communication need to be present and available at the same time
Examples- E-mail, Discussion boards, text messaging.

ReplyDeleteI agree with your answers. Synchronous communication is effective with direct communications. Another example is text messaging with your friends.
I found this to be an interesting blog post for our class. I learned a lot about communication today.
